My colleague, Bebe and I each led a different makeup workshop for a hen party in Brighton. We decided to teach two very popular looks which are often requested: smokey eyes and nude lips as well as the classic liquid eye liner flick with a red lip.
My group was the ‘Flicks n’ Red Lips’ group which held five ladies. I was appropriate makeup tutor as I have a lot of experience doing vintage makeup at the Goodwood Revival as well as the Brighton Rock feature length film and of course when I worked at M.A.C. Cosmetics.
After demonstrating the look on my model, I guided the ladies again through the look. I was very impressed with how well the ladies applied their own liquid or gel eye liner and pleased with how fantastic they looked after applying a bold lip colour to themselves.
