Film Hair and Makeup

My first job on a film set was back in 2009 when I was hired by the incredible, BAFTA-winning hair and makeup designer, Ivana Primorac as one of her crowd hair and makeup trainees on the set of Brighton Rock, a feature film which was set in 1960’s Britain.

I enjoy film work as it requires a wide variety of skills including: historic/period hairstyling, wigs, special effects makeup, prosthetics design and application, barbering – plus constant creativity and problem-solving at a moments notice! It is a wealth of knowledge that takes many years to absorb and quite a lot of fun kit too!

I work at many levels across film production: hair and makeup designer for TV commercials, branded content films, independent features and short films – and hair and makeup artist or crowd daily for larger budget films.
